My dear friends, I have been silent for a few months, as I did not tthink that I had “hot news” to share with you! However, I had the chance to travel during this period, sometime fare, sometime close to home…
In Auguest, we had the pleasure to host our older grandson for a week. With him, we went to the Beauval zoo. We liked the “Birds show” a lot. My grandson loved the swimming pool in the ressort nearby :-)! We visited also the air and space museum in Le Bourget: nice but not as good as the one near Toronto!
We spent two weeks in Toronto, then it was time to go back home for the appointments at various hospitals and doctors. I met with my fantastic graft doctor at Saint Antoine Hospital According to her, I am “cured”! The result: my next appointment is scheduled in two years…. I don’t know how I will be able to survive without meeting her :-)!
Later, we visited another part of the Loire valley, near Chateauneuf sur Loire. It was a weekend “Journée du patrimoine “, so we had the chance to visit places which are usually closed or for which there are no commented visits, like the Abbaye of Fleury: beautiful and interesting comments by a monk from the abbaye.
Recently we went to Dol de Bretagne, where my brother moved during the summer. We ade a short walk from “la pointe du Grouin” to “Cancale”, using the “custom officers’ path”.
Of ccourse, I resumed my “artistic wworks”, both stained glass and clay modeling…
Fall season started, and I don’t like this time of the year..
