I have been silent for a long time! But it was not because of something going wrong, just because I was “busy”…

In mid-july, we visited our daughter and her family in Toronto. Our daughter being pregnant of her second baby, we tried to help the family by taking part of various activities… In particular, we went for a week-end close to Niagara Falls with our grandson: a lot of fun, although the weather was not too great!

Back home, I started back my favorite activities: gardening and cooking cakes!

Just before mid-September, I had my annual appointment with my fantastic graft doctor at Saint Antoine Hospital… I was already in the eighth year of my second life! Before, I did a blood analysis, which, according to my great doctor, was “perfect” :-)!

I was ready to head again to Toronto, as the birth of my daughter’s second baby was due for the third week of september… The baby did not wait for us, and came just two days before our arrival! A wonderfull little boy!

We spent one month in Toronto, and enjoyed very much being part of the new family of four! We are looking forward for our next visit, during Chritsmas!

I feel so lucky to be able to run around and meet the new members of the family! I will never thank enough the great team of doctors and nurses at Saint Antoine hospital, and in particular my wonderful graft doctor: they saved my life! I don’t forget my stem cells donnor, and also my great family and my friends! With love…
